Who in the world works on OLD cars anymore?!?!? I ran into Gary and his right hand man Rick by sheer luck and what a lucky accident it was. I have a 1977 El Camino and I for on have been screwed and tattooed by shops that work on classic cars and keep your whip for MONTHS at a time. One shop put transmission fluid down the carb so when I picked it up it was super SMOKEY (an old repair shop trick) but as luck would have it the owner had a crate motor ready to go at $4K.....and they did this to my dad with his 78 El Camino. Talk about embarrassing as we had to wait until the transmission fluid "burned off". (Chris at Classic Automotive are you paying attention?) No tricks, no BS, just rock solid advise and experience from an owner who cares about his reputation. Rick his lead service tech said it best. I've been working on cars since I was 13 and I have worked for Gary Anders since 1982........ They will fix your car and come hell or high water will do the right thing by you.
